A new start to this blogging adventure.  We have had a very cold January and it has yet to get warm enough to be outside for any length of time unless you are bundled up. I seem to not like to bundle up to much and so I have been spending all of my time indoors and running from being inside to the car and back to being inside.
I am setting a few goals for myself and posting them here so I am accountable.
1. Daily exercise for 30 minutes
2. Do something creative every week.
3. Do a random act of kindness every week.
4. Build up my spirit.
5. Get rid of 100 bags, boxes, or large items this year.
6. Improve my eating habits.
7. Blog weekly

There will be more but this is my starting point.  I know they seem vague but I have them written in my journal in more detail.

It has been a very busy two weeks. I have school and work that take up a lot of time. The thing that I am spending most of my time on right now is trying to find out ways to help my son with school work. Middle school is such a busy time and the work load is more then at the high school level. I hope that we can find a way to help him feel that he can do what is ask of him without it taking up his whole day. We are on a 4 day school week and then he has 2 to 5 hours of homework a night. That is enough to drive a non-busy person up a wall. Well no rest for the weary.
I have just finished reading a book called Late, Lost and Unprepared. It has a lot of ideas and answers for those struggling with Executive Functioning Disorder. I have found a few ideas that might help him with some schooling things. I have also been reading the book The Organized Student, lots of good ideas in it also. I now need to start trying some of these ideas.

Had an amazing program at Gooding Public Library. The National Park Service came and did fossil activities with the kids in the library. On Fridays, the Gooding School District has no school so we at the public library plan programs for the students to do . We call these Funtastic Friday's at Gooding Public Library. It was great to have the help of the National Park Service. Great program and lots of attendance. I am looking forward to next months program that the National Pack Service will put on.
This is a new adventure for me. Just a bit about us. I work at the public library in Gooding, go to school full time and have 6 great children. I am married to my best friend and the love of my life. I have so many blessing that the Lord has give to me. Miracles happen everyday in my live, at times I may not see them that day but I can look back and see them.
This blog site was an assignment for one of my classes but I am grateful for the assignment. I have always enjoyed journal writing so this should be a good outlet.
